Three Ways
to Earn $10 and Get a Chance at the TV

1. Referring a New Member

Here's all you have to do...
  1. Fill out a Referral Coupon. Copies may be printed from the DCU web site or picked up at any DCU branch.
  2. Pass it on. Give it to anyone you know who is not already a DCU member. Be sure to tell them how you benefit from your DCU Checking Account. Do this as many times as you like. You can refer an unlimited number of people; if you referred five people that met the conditions, you would receive $50 and 5 chances to win the TV.
  3. If the person you referred...
    • Turns in your coupon,
    • Joins DCU and opens a DCU Checking Account with Direct Deposit between October 1 and December 31, 2009,
    • and direct deposit transactions begin by January 31, 2010,

    We will deposit $10 in your DCU Savings Account in February 2010 (no later than February 28) and award you one chance at the TV prize.
2. Referred Member Joining DCU and Opening DCU Checking with Direct Deposit

Here's all you have to do...
  1. Fill out the rest of the Referral Coupon given to you (so your friend can participate)
  2. Then if you...
    • Turn in your coupon,
    • Join DCU and open a DCU Checking Account with Direct Deposit between October 1 and December 31, 2009,
    • and make sure direct deposit transactions begin by January 31, 2010,

    we will deposit $10 in your DCU Savings Account in February 2010 (no later than February 28) and award you one chance at the TV prize. If you join DCU online, you can mail the completed Referral Coupon to DCU "Member Referral Promotion", 220 Donald Lynch Blvd, Marlborough, MA, 01752.
3. Opening a New Checking with Direct Deposit or Activating an Existing Account

Here's all you have to do...
  1. Open a new DCU Checking Account with Direct Deposit between October 1 and December 31, 2009, or
  2. Add Direct Deposit to an existing DCU Checking Account between October 1 and December 31, 2009,
  3. And make sure direct deposit transactions begin by January 31, 2010,
We will deposit $10 in your DCU Savings Account in February 2010 (no later than February 28) and award you one chance at the TV prize.

Official Drawing Rules
  • For referring members to get a chance at the drawing, the person you refer must turn in your filled-out coupon, join DCU, and open a DCU Checking Account with Direct Deposit between October 1 and December 31, 2009. In addition, direct deposit transactions on this account must begin no later than January 31, 2010.
  • For others to receive a chance at the drawing, you must either open a new DCU Checking Account with Direct Deposit or add Direct Deposit to an existing DCU Checking Account between October 1 and December 31, 2009. Direct deposit transactions must begin no later than January 31, 2010. Existing DCU Checking Account with Direct Deposit as of September 30, 2009 are not eligible.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age and a DCU member with an active membership in good standing at the time of the drawings to be eligible to win. It is the responsibility of the entrant to comply with any federal laws or regulations as well as any specific to the state in which the entrant resides. In the event of a dispute of the rules of this drawing, the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts will preside, or to enter the contest, you must be a lawful permanent resident of the United States, 18 years of age or older and must not be considered a minor in your state of residence.
  • DCU will randomly pick one winner for one 40" Samsung LCD HD TV by February 28, 2010. Prize is valued at $1,000. Member may choose to accept $1,000 cash prize in lieu of 40" Samsung LCD HD TV.
  • Each winner assumes all responsibility for income and other taxes applicable to the prize based on its fair market value.
  • By accepting the prize, each winner agrees to allow DCU to use his or her name and likeness in any DCU publication, including on DCU's web site.
  • Each winner agrees that DCU will not be liable for any resultant action derived from the use, transport, or enjoyment of the prize.
  • No purchase necessary. If you are an active DCU Member in good standing and wish to enter, you can enter by sending an 8 ½ " x 11" sheet of paper with your name, address, member number, phone number, and the words "Checking and Direct Deposit Drawing - 40" Samsung LCD HD TV" in a sealed envelope to Digital Federal Credit Union, 40" Samsung LCD HD TV Drawing, PO Box 9130, Marlborough, MA 01752-9130 by December 31, 2009. Limit one mail entry per eligible member.
  • DCU employees, volunteers, and their immediate family members are ineligible to win the 40" Samsung LCD HD TV.
  • The decision of the contest judges is final. Odds will vary with the number of eligible entries. Winner will be notified by telephone within two weeks of drawing.
